Custom web apps in Brisbane, built around how your business works
A website informs people, answers their questions and captures leads. A webapp goes much further into how your business runs: it takes that lead and manages it, with a CRM, marketing modules, reports, bookings and payments, all automated and built for the way you actually work.
We build custom webapps for Brisbane businesses and organisations from $3,000, usually in 3 to 8 weeks. You own the code, and you only pay for the features you need.

What's the difference between a website and a webapp?
A website is informational: it explains what you do, answers the questions people have before they call, and captures their details. A webapp is a tool your team and your customers use every day. It holds data, has logins with different roles, and does work that would otherwise happen in spreadsheets and email.
Latin American Awards Australia is a clear example. Nominations used to arrive by email and be tracked in Excel. Their platform now receives nominations through online forms, gives nominees a portal to follow their status, and lets the jury score every entry online across 12 award categories, in English and Spanish.
Why build one instead of paying for a SaaS?
A multi-user SaaS is built for thousands of businesses at once, so you pay for a long list of features you don't know about and don't need, and you bend your process to fit the software. A custom webapp does the opposite: it's built around your process, with only the modules you use.
Southernflow, the CRM we built for education and migration agencies, shows what that looks like in practice. Each agency gets its own installation and its own database, hosted in Sydney, with its own branding and domain, rather than a seat on a shared platform.
How much does a custom webapp cost?
Webapps start at $3,000. The final price depends on the features the project needs and the services it has to connect to, like payments, email or calendars. Before anything starts you get a written proposal with the scope and the cost, and payment is usually 50% upfront and 50% on delivery. Larger projects can be split into more instalments.
After launch, a care plan from $99 a month keeps the app secure and its dependencies up to date. Changes to content or new features are quoted separately, so you always know what you're paying for.
How long does it take, and how does it work?
Most webapps take 3 to 8 weeks. We hold the agreed dates as long as the information and material we need from your side arrives on the dates we agree too.
It starts with a conversation about what you need, then a clear proposal with scope and cost. We design together how it should work, build it with a demo every 2 weeks so you see progress as it happens, and test everything before launch. At handover we show you how to use it, and the first 30 days of support are included.

Read the case studyWhen you don't need a webapp
- You need to inform people and capture leads. That's what a website is for, and it costs less.
- An existing tool already fits your process and you use most of what you pay for. Then keep it: a custom webapp earns its cost when off-the-shelf software makes you work around it.
Questions people ask
Who owns the code?
You do. The source code is yours, with no vendor lock-in. If you ever want another developer to take over, everything is handed over.
Can it connect to the tools I already use?
Usually, yes. We've built with Stripe and Wompi for payments, Resend for transactional email and Supabase for data and logins. Each integration is listed in the proposal, because it affects the price.
Can different people see different things?
Yes. Logins with roles are standard. On the Latin American Awards platform, nominees, jury members and the organising team each see only their own part of the process.
Can I start small and add features later?
Yes, and it's often the better way to start. New features are quoted as additional development, and existing clients get a 15% discount because we already know the project.
Can it work in more than one language?
Yes. Latin American Awards Australia and Latin Temple Beauty run in English and Spanish, and Southernflow runs in English, Spanish and Portuguese.
