A Next.js addon for event management — ticket sales with zero commissions, QR check-in and real-time analytics.
The Challenge
Event organisers in Brisbane's Latin American community were tired of paying absurd commissions to platforms like Eventbrite, and on top of that had no real control over their data. They wanted to sell tickets, run a professional check-in and see their numbers from their own website, without depending on anyone.
The Solution
We built EventosPro as an addon for an organiser's own Next.js site rather than a platform of its own. Stripe is integrated directly, so the money goes to the organiser without intermediaries. The QR check-in works even without internet, which matters at venues with poor signal, and the dashboard shows sales and attendance in real time.

Tech Stack
Results
EventosPro is ready for production. LACA QLD is implementing it for its community events, and Latinoz Awards is next. It ships with 58 API routes backed by 64 unit tests and 41 end-to-end tests. Organisers keep their own data, and each ticket's payment goes straight to their Stripe account with no platform commission.
