Affiliate terms

An affiliate recommends. You share your code or your link; the buyer purchases from the Synergic Pro store, receives the files from us and is bound by our store terms and licence. You never deliver files, copies or access yourself, and you never sell on our behalf. The licence of every product prohibits resale and redistribution, and that applies to you too.

Synergic Pro (Felipe Diez, ABN 15 790 985 256, Brisbane) invites and approves affiliates one by one. To take part you need an Australian Business Number (ABN) and to accept these terms in your portal; your code only works once you are active. We may decline or end a partnership at our discretion.

You receive a code (for example CARO3) and a link to the product page carrying it. A buyer who types your code on the product page, or who reaches the store through your link and buys within 30 days, gets the discount shown on the page (A$3 unless we agree otherwise) and the sale is attributed to you. A code typed on the page counts over a link; when a buyer used several links, the last one counts.

Codes work on the products we enable for them, which you see in your portal. A code may be paused or replaced if it is being misused, for instance if it appears on coupon sites.

Your commission is a percentage of what the buyer actually paid, after the discount and before Stripe's fees; if Synergic Pro is registered for GST, the GST portion is excluded first. The default is 20%; a different rate for you or for a product is shown in your portal and prevails.

A commission is recorded when a sale is paid and is approved after a holding period (30 days by default) if the order was not refunded or disputed. A refund or dispute before approval cancels the commission; one after payout is deducted from your next balance. Purchases made with your own code, by you or on your behalf, earn nothing.

You can request a payout from your portal once your approved balance reaches the minimum (A$20 by default). Synergic Pro pays by bank transfer or Wise to the details you keep in the portal, usually within 14 days, and emails you the detail. Payouts are in Australian dollars; your bank may convert or charge fees.

Say that you earn a commission every time you share your code or link (for example "affiliate link" or "I earn a commission if you buy with my code"), as the Australian Consumer Law and the ACCC's guidance on paid endorsements require.

The products are educational material and general information. You must not promise results ("save $X", "pay less tax"), and you must not give financial, tax, legal or accounting advice when promoting them or when answering your followers' questions about them. If someone asks about their own situation, send them to a registered professional. Repeat the notices that appear on the product page when you describe what a product does.

You may use the product name, our description and the images we provide. You may not alter the products, show their contents beyond what the product page shows, or present yourself as Synergic Pro or as its employee.

Publishing codes on coupon or discount sites or in places that are not your own channels; running paid advertising on the Synergic Pro name, the product names or close variations; unsolicited messages (spam) in any medium; buying with your own code; registering more than one affiliate account; incentivising purchases with payments or gifts; any practice that misleads a buyer about the product, the price or who is selling. Any of these may lead to the cancellation of the commissions involved and to the end of the partnership.

You are responsible for the tax treatment of what you earn. We require an ABN so that commissions can be paid without withholding; if you are registered for GST, tell us, and we will agree how the commission is documented (an invoice from you or a recipient-created tax invoice from us). Affiliates outside Australia must tell us their country before the first payout.

We keep your name, email, ABN, payout details and a hashed record of the addresses from which you use your portal, to run the program and to detect self-referrals. Your portal shows the date, the product and the amount of each sale attributed to you, never the buyer's name or email. You must not try to identify buyers. Our privacy policy explains what we keep and for how long.

Synergic Pro may pause or end a code or an affiliate account at any time, and may withhold commissions that come from a breach of these terms. You may leave the program at any time by writing to hello@synergic.pro; approved commissions above the minimum are still paid. We may update these terms; the version you accepted and the date are kept in your portal, and a material change asks you to accept again before your code keeps working. These terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia.
